A TikTok user has gone viral for her hot argument that Saturday Night Live has “never employed a ‘hot woman,’” prompting responses from current cast members Sarah Sherman and Chloe Troast.
For nearly five decades, fans have tuned into NBC’s late-night show, Saturday night. But are they tuned in to the laughter or the attention? The women of In cash weighed heavily after the matter went viral, provoking reactions from some SNL solid members.
As part of the “Scorching Matters” phase, the co-hosts took a look at the viral TikTok of a woman named Jahelis who asked, “Am I the one who’s seen this? SNL Have you ever hired a hot woman?

She then tried to make her point by demoting the current solid member Heidi Gardnerwhile highlighting some of the “hot men” of the present over the years, including names like Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikisand present a solid member Bowen Yang.
In regards to Gardner, when displaying an image of the veteran cast member, Jehalis said that she is often cast as the “super her and super dumb” woman, despite the fact that “she’s not that fair”, with Jehalis admitting that she is “I suppose technically the most typical hot woman in this cast.
This hot opinion was left out on social media all week and didn’t fare much better when In cash he picked up. Correctly, we will say that the majority of In cash assumed, as Whoopi Goldberg dismissed the matter before merely ruling out his involvement.
Whoopi has certainly faced a lot of criticism throughout her career, which began in comedy. Clearly, she was over the matter before she even started.

Pleasure Behar, who worked as a stand-up comedian early in his career, jumped right into it. “For starters, it’s a comedy show, not a beauty pageant,” she argued. “It’s not up to men to lust after women who are trying to have fun.”
But then she provided a pretty hot take on herself when she said that being too hot can actually hinder her performance as a comic. “No one will make fun of what you say if they are too busy with your breasts,” she argued.

Alyssa Farah Griffin co-signed this idea a bit when he mentioned that while there is a “TV attractiveness baseline,” SNL will not be the place to look for individuals to the extent of Beyonce or Brad Pitt.
She then became famous as even when SNL gets arguably hotter people into the mix, it seems to hurt the comedy a bit. She famous Jacob Elordi recent hosting stint, saying, “He was funny, but every sketch was about how engaging he is, because he can be distracting.”

Behar also pushed back against Jahelis’ argument that the show had hotter men than women in the cast, saying she doesn’t see that many there. “Belushi and Chris Farley were not my ideal dates,” she said.
His bottom line was that it’s about having just the right degree of heat, noting that “women are engaging, obviously; You don’t have to be canine to be funny.

Jahelis wasn’t just stalking the women on the show in his four-minute video. She inelegantly tried to make a broader point, noting that “since we see women as super funny, we have a hard time also seeing them as attractive and engaging.”
She also wasn’t saying that these women were unattractive, per se, as she said that Maya Rodolfo is “really impressive” and Kristen Wiig it is “very conventionally engaging.” The problem, she said, is that they don’t necessarily seem to be hot, admitting that she wasn’t even able to pinpoint what she meant by that.

When solid member present Sara Sherman When I found out about the video, she hilariously responded on her X/Twitter page, writing, “I just found out I’m not hot. Please give me and my family the home to grieve in a private and ugly way at this time.”
This year’s last solid member, Chloe Troastmade a seam on TikTok where he sang Cristina Aguilera “Adorable” for Jahelis’ video.
Meanwhile, social media users and followers immediately brushed aside Jehalis’ argument, stating that the current solid members Ego Nwodim It is Chloe Finemanwhile others turned to the archives to find names like Kate McKinnon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Cecília Robusta, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Melissa Villasenor, Nasim Pedrad, Sasheer Zamata, Abby Elliott and so on. Wasn’t being “hot” and “dumb” Victoria Jackson’s main factor?
With a new episode of Saturday night this weekend, which happened to be hosted by one of the cast members Jahelis mentioned, Kristen Wiig, this escalating dialogue throughout the video makes it increasingly likely that the show will address it in some way. This is hope!
In the meantime, Jahelis wrote a particularly sarcastic apology to the backlash, which she learned out loud TikTok and you can see below.
