Cuba Gooding Jr. I was in Miami last weekend – same place Diddy is in the midst of an ongoing federal investigation…interesting considering their alleged connection.
TMZ obtained a photo of Cuba in South Beach on Easter Sunday, and as you can see… he’s alone in the back of a golf cart, which advertises yacht rentals, and there are two unknown guys sitting in the front.
Cuba looks relaxed in his sunglasses as he examines his phone — and yes, he’s certainly dressed for a sunny, festive day in the Sunshine State.
Of course, the reason Cuba’s presence in South Florida might raise an eyebrow or two is that he and Diddy were recently named co-defendants in the action filed by Rodney Jones …a former employee of tycoon Bad Boy.
Jones had previously cited Cuba in his first lawsuit – claiming the guy touched him inappropriately… something he then amended to claim amounted to outright sexual assault.
You may remember… Rodney claimed that Diddy introduced him to Cuba while everyone was on Diddy’s yacht, and Cuba started fondling him. Rodney claims he had to push Cuba away during the supposed encounter.
Rodney further claimed in his lawsuit that he felt Diddy left him with Cuba in an attempt to pass it off to his friends in the industry.
Diddy denied all of Rodney’s allegations… and some of his claims in the lawsuit fell flat when put under a microscope.
Of course, in light everything that happened with Diddy since the lawsuit was filed earlier this year – Cuba’s sudden appearance in Miami will attract more attention than it normally would.
Now, he wasn’t seen hanging out with Diddy while in Florida – and FWIW, Cuba hasn’t addressed the allegations in Rodney’s lawsuit…nor have he or his reps/lawyers addressed anything related to Diddy.

Diddy himself also appeared publicly in the wake of the attacks… appearing here and there in Miami – and apparently not trying to hide, despite the federal sex trafficking investigation.
He has denied all charges in several civil cases, and as for the feds, he has not been arrested or charged with any crimes.
