Gwyneth Paltrow spent the Easter holiday surrounded by her loved ones in Nashville.
On Sunday, the 51-year-old Goop founder shared an Instagram album of her weekend adventures with her children, Apple, 19, and Moses, 17.
In one of the photos, the trio is shown enjoying pizza at Lou Nashville restaurant, while in another, Moses is photographed in front of a mural. The family also made stops at The Station Inn and Kisser Japanese Restaurant.
“Easter weekend in Nashville 🐰💕,” Paltrow captioned the series of photos.
Paltrow shares Apple and Moses with ex-husband Chris Martinwhat is it now reportedly engaged to Dakota Johnson. Paltrow, on the other hand, got married Brad Falchuk in September 2018. Falchuk has two children, son Brody, 17, and daughter Isabella, 19.
Earlier this month, Paltrow addressed the complexities of parenthood in conversation with Nicole Avant at the International Visionary Women’s Day Summit.
“Yeah, it sucks, right guys?” Paltrow jokingly asked the audience. “No, actually, I really like talking about it because it’s one of my biggest learnings as a human being. And my area of personal growth came from the difficult early relationship I had with my stepchildren and now they are like my children. .”
As for Apple and Moses, when discussing their futures, Paltrow told ET in October 2022 that they are “certainly creative”.
“Apple is very open to life now and doesn’t think about it in those terms,” Paltrow said in response to where her children plan to pursue their adult lives. “Moses really likes music, so we’ll see. I don’t know if he wants to pursue a career, but I think both of my kids are certainly creative, but they’re also academic, so I don’t know. We’ll see what they do.”
Apple is currently in her second year of college as Moses prepares to start in the fall.
About how she feels about his departure, she recently told Sunday times“On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending pain. On the other hand, this is exactly what should be happening.”
“Your kids should be, you know, young adults who are able to achieve and cope and make connections and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means them leaving home,” she explained, adding that “it’s been so defined and so fulfilled by motherhood.”
Paltrow continued, “It’s like a guiding force. It’s where I go back to. I watch a lot of my friends who have kids who went to college. Your kid… that changes. And you know, they come over to the house a lot and everything, but it’s not quite the same thing as living under the same roof every day of the year, so I’m just trying to be open to what that means.
