Chance Perdomo is being remembered by his co-stars.
On Saturday, the The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Generation V the star’s representative confirmed his death following a motorcycle accident. He was 27 years old.
“On behalf of the family and their representatives, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident,” a representative for the late actor told ET. “His passion for the arts and his insatiable appetite for life were felt by all who knew him, and his affection will continue in those he loved most. We ask that you respect the family’s desire for privacy as they grieve the loss of their loved one. son and brother.”
Patrick Schwarzenegger, who starred alongside Perdomo in The boys spin off, took to Twitter to remember him.
“This hurts. A lot. What a talented young actor and a great friend – gone too soon. It was a pleasure working with him at GenV. RIP Chance ❤️,” he wrote.
The Official Generation V The Instagram account paid a loving tribute to the star, who played Andre Anderson in the series.
“All the Generation V The family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo,” the statement read. “Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our sincere thoughts and support to Chance’s family and everyone who loves him at this difficult time.”
The series’ producers wrote, “We can’t understand this. For those of us who knew and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature and an incredibly talented artist, and more than anything else, just a very kind and lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense makes no sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family and are mourning the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved one those tight.”
The shared statement ended with a photo of the young star.
About that, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress Skye P. Marshall shared a touching tribute to Perdomo via Instagram.
“27 💔 No, not Chance. I don’t want to believe it. Chance is my baby. A kind, precious man who is extraordinarily talented, very intelligent, loving hugger, energetic, radiant force of nature with a beautiful vibrant soul and a bright smile and childlike, moving to the beat of his own drum. We both lit up every time we saw each other,” she wrote. “The last communication we shared was last month, and my last words to him were, ‘I love you. !!’ And he knew it. I’m in shock and devastation, as so many are. I’m not ready to process this pain.”
She continued: “Sending love to your entire family, your incredible mother who is devastated and to the friends and #chaos fans who are grieving this huge loss. those who are wondering how, a motorcycle accident) #chanceperdomo.”
Following his death, ET learned that production on the second season of Generation V will be pushed back. Perdomo starred alongside Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway and Maddie Phillips in the superhero series created by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg and Eric Kripke. Generation V is a spin-off of Prime The boys.
In Generation VPerdomo starred as Andre, one of the cool kids at Godolkin University’s School of Crime Fighting and Luke’s (Schwarzenegger) best friend who possesses magnetic manipulation powers.
Perdomo was known for his role in the action series, but he also starred in Too bad Hetty, Shakespeare and Hathaway: private investigators It is Midsomer Murders. Perdomo is perhaps best known for starring as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrinawhich aired 36 episodes over two seasons.
