The amenities on Air Force One are so good that journalists apparently can’t keep their filthy paws off them and are even taking some home… so a new report says.
According to Politicalan inventory was taken by the Air Force after a multi-day press trip to the West Coast last month – and several items were missing.

The outlet claims it was enough of a problem that the White House Travel Office was alerted… prompting the president of the WH Correspondents Association to send an email berating his colleagues. Among the items taken were pillowcases, glasses and gold-rimmed crockery.
The email is said to have criticized journalists for their sticky fingers… claiming the antics were a bad look for the entire press.
Air Force One is famous for having all kinds of presidential-themed swag on board, including boxes of M&Ms, napkins, and matchbooks. These items are, of course, available… but over the years, even better crap has been stolen, and now… that’s a problem.
However, according to Politico, that right of way on Air Force One may be coming to an end. The email sent to the press group was supposedly not accusatory… but offered to facilitate the silent return of any merchandise potentially stolen from the flight.
WH officials told Politico the email was to send a message… stop stealing or else!!!
Apparently, only one member of the press returned anything after the brief note… so we’re not sure if the journalists are actually heeding the warning, or simply don’t want to speak out.
