Porsha Williams is hitting back at ex-husband Simon Guobadia for participating in “superfluous media shenanigans” as her divorce becomes public.
“Our consumer, Porsha Williams, is making a conscious effort not to respond to all the superfluous documents that Simon Iyore Guobadia aka Iyore Guobadia releases to the press, instead we will rely on the document that his lawyer will prepare before they get married , which was agreed upon and signed by both parties,” the reality star’s attorney, Randall M. Kessler, only told Page Six in a statement.
The founding partner of Kessler & Solomiany: Divorce & Household Law Attorneys emphasizes that the returning “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member, 42, hopes Guobadia can settle in to handle legal matters from now on.
“Her legal position is simple, and she trusts that the court will evaluate the pleadings and related regulations to address this matter in court, and not through the media,” the lawyer continues. “Sir. Guobadia’s decision to repeatedly distribute his legal records and letters to the press before sending us a duplicate, as is normal protocol, should be a matter for the court to resolve and we are asking the court to take action.
Kessler concludes: “Some other records, interoffice correspondence, or media shenanigans of the opposing group will be disregarded and used lawfully, as much as possible, to further bolster its position.”
Williams’ response comes after Guobadia, 59, spent the past few days belittling her character through a succession of legal actions filled with bizarre claims.
He went so far as to accuse the Bravolebrity of bringing an “armed man” to his Georgia home — though she later called him out for portraying a “false narrative” in a personal post of hers on Tuesday obtained by Page Six.
“The events always had personal security, so it is unclear why the husband is trying to spread a false narrative that means, even minimally, that the spouse returned to the marital residence with any nefarious intentions,” the authorized doctor found.
Williams’ legal attorney added in the filing: “Like Mr. Guobadia, Ms. Williams has the right to feel safe at home. The events have always had armed security, so this is nothing unusual for them. As Ms. Williams has informed law enforcement and her consumer, she has no intention of intimidating Mr. Guobadia or creating any pointless drama by any means.”
On Thursday, Guobadia sent a cease and desist letter to True Leisure, the production company behind “RHOA,” demanding that filming at her home be halted amid her breakup with Williams.
However, the letter was apparently written in vain, as a source close to the production of the Bravo reality show assured Page Six that nothing was filmed at the Guobadia home for the upcoming sixteenth season.
Williams filed for divorce from Guobadia in February after just a year of marriage.
Since then, she has denounced the businessman for exhibiting allegedly “vindictive” behavior, alleging in a legal document that he had the storage codes and door locks of her marital home changed so that she could not enter.

Guobadia was in Dubai when he allegedly locked Williams out of the house.
Williams claims the prenuptial agreement states that Guobadia was to vacate the house within 30 days of filing for divorce – which he did not do.
If Williams were to file for divorce on February 22, 2024, Guobadia would need to vacate the house by March 22.
Instead, Williams claims, Guobadia requested an additional 10 days, which she and her team rejected.
The mother-of-one – who shares 5-year-old daughter Pilar Jhena, aka “Pj”, with ex Dennis McKinley – has cut all public ties with Guobadia, removing her final name from her Instagram account and deleting several images .
In his testimony Tuesday, Williams summarized his reasons for leaving Guobadia.
In part, she explained that surprising experiences related to the Nigerian native’s alleged immigration fraud and what appeared to be an imminent risk of deportation, among other alarming allegations, had taken a toll on her psychological and emotional well-being. (Guobadia denied such allegations in a legal document.)
“There are several reasons why we are in this position and I am under pressure to make this decision. I’ll make sure they’re written down and listed so you can see them. There may be nothing in this world that could have informed me that I should divorce you or that I could even think of leaving you, even for a day,” Williams wrote, directly addressing Guobadia.
“Yet what is between us shakes our foundation to the core. I have always trusted you since day one, after I took your hand and started this journey, I always confused that I feel safe with you and how important someone like me is,” she elaborated.
“I also loved you from end to end! But all of this shows me that you didn’t care about me in the same way and that could be a big problem. Your job is to protect Pj and me and you didn’t do it.
