Shannon Beador’s ex-husband, David Beador, is facing legal repercussions for his own traffic violations less than a year after his ex-wife was arrested for driving under the limit.
According to court data obtained by Page Six, the development company owner was pulled over on February 4 for reckless driving and speeding over 100 miles per hour.
His arraignment was held Wednesday and he was formally charged with two misdemeanor counts.
David has pleaded not guilty and a separate pretrial hearing has been scheduled for April 9, according to reports.
Page Six reached out to him and his attorney but did not immediately receive a response. Shannon’s spokesperson also did not immediately respond to our request.
David’s legal troubles — first reported by Radar Online — come as the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is trying to turn her life around after feeling “embarrassed” when she crashed her car into a house while eating and driving.
Last September, Shannon, 60, was booked on hit-and-run and alcohol charges, spent time in jail and had to post $2,500 bail following the incident.
The Newport Marine Police Division’s animal handling unit also began an investigation into her since she had her dog, Archie, restrained in the car during the accident.
Before Shannon was formally charged and sentenced to a few years of probation, she enrolled in an outpatient program to help with her substance abuse issues.
“I spent the last month, which I actually had this period of time, specializing,” the reality star said at BravoCon in November 2023.
“I never drink and drive. I’m Mrs Uber. But you know there were a lot of unhealthy issues going on in my life and I drank more alcohol.
Shannon, who was married to David from 2000 to 2019 and shares three daughters with him, shamelessly fought back when the end of her marriage — along with an affair — happened on “RHOC.”
After the Bravo star filed for divorce in December 2017, the legal battle turned contentious as they fought over custody of their baby and whether or not the businessman would pay any spousal support.

David even reported Shannon for her consumption at the time, claiming in court documents that her conduct was “harmful to children.”
He previously stated, “I asked Ms. Beador to agree not to eat or get drunk in front of the children and was denied and I literally objected to her even acknowledging that she was ‘self-medicating.’”
Shannon then received $1.4 million and $10,000 per month in assistance in April 2019.
Since then, the exes have apparently adopted louder phrases. They got together at a local hangout in Orange County, California called The Quiet Girl last June and posed for a selfie together.
