Emily Willis is slowly — and her family certainly hopes — on the road to recovery after a cardiac arrest last month left her unconscious and hospitalized in critical condition.
The 25-year-old adult film star’s father, Michaeltells TMZ … while she remains in a vegetative state, there have been notable improvements — notably, she’s now awake and able to track things with her eyes, smile and even get emotional during conversations.
Unfortunately, Michael says doctors are not anticipating further improvements beyond what she has already achieved.
Furthermore, they have yet to identify the root cause of what led to his cardiac arrest… especially since an initial toxicology report determined there were no drugs in his system.
For now, the family is asking for prayers, which is all they can do.
Michael also told us that they hope to move Emily to St. George, Utah, to be closer to family for ongoing care… which will help reduce mounting medical bills.
Earlier this month, Emily’s family launched a GoFundMe for help with medical expensestravel and accommodation for his family to stay alongside the hospital – and the $60,000 goal was long ago broken.
TMZ broke the story… Emily was transported to a medical center in Thousand Oaks, CA in early February. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how she is doing.
Needless to say, it’s a relief to hear about Emily’s progress – especially since her family was initially told to prepare for the worst.
