Ice Cube recently took to social media to confirm reports of extension Caitlin Clark a BIG deal to join the BIG3 league.
According to CNNthe Gen X rapper offered him millions, however, he intended for the terms of the deal to remain private.
The BIG3 is a 3-on-3 professional basketball league created by the movie mogul in 2017. The organization has employed several former NBA players as team members and WNBA members as coaches.

Caitlin Clark Contract Details
Cube followed up his X announcement on Wednesday (March 27) with the story of TMZ who claimed he offered the guard a $5 million dollar contract. But he did not explicitly confirm the dollar amount offered.
The BIG3 told CNN that the deal specifies that Caitlin only needs to play 10 games to guarantee the money. This includes eight regular season games and two playoff games.
If she accepts the deal, Caitlin will be the first female player since the team’s inception.
“We wanted the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark plays for the championship,” said the 54-year-old. “But I won’t deny what’s already out there: BIG3 made a historic offer to Caitlin Clark. Why wouldn’t we? Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3.”
This isn’t the first time he’s given women opportunities in the league — WNBA legends Nancy Lieberman and Lisa Leslie are among the coaching staff.

Additionally, the actor isn’t worried about who will criticize Caitlin for joining an all-male team.
The Cali native stated: “Skeptics laughed when we made Nancy Lieberman the first female coach of a men’s professional team, and she won the championship in her first year. So Lisa Leslie won the entire second year. With our gift, Caitlin Clark can make history and break even more barriers for female athletes.”
Cube believes female players should have more opportunities to earn money without traveling abroad. Another US option is vital, he says.
“US female athletes should not be forced to spend the off-season playing in often dark and dubious foreign countries just to survive. And they should have more than just one professional option in the US, at a time when American professional sports leagues are being infiltrated by autocratic, anti-women regimes like Qatar,” he said.
The director believes Caitlin’s agreement will pave the way for more female athletes.
“Our innovative offer to Caitlin Clark demonstrates that BIG3 now offers another option for athletes,” Cube added.
NCAA Division 1’s all-time leading scorer has piqued WNBA interest. But according to ABC15the average WNBA player salary averaged $103,000 in 2020, while NBA players earned around $9.4 million.
While this could be a life-changing offer for Caitlin, the basketball player is already making good money. According to USA todaythe valuation of his image and name business is already estimated at around US$3.5 million.
