Robert Downey Jr.is ready to hit the BMX circuit… dressed in clothes suitable for an afternoon bike ride – and making father-son bonding complete with a loving fist bump.
The actor – fresh off his first Oscar win – toured the Malibu coast on Tuesday with his 30-year-old son Indianand we have to say… RDJ made a loud statement with his athletic-chic style, one that passing drivers were sure to see.
Check out the photos, Downey is wearing brightly colored highlighters…a must-have when biking on the mean streets of Los Angeles so drivers don’t accidentally knock over an acting icon. He also has his bike helmet on – safety first, kids!
We’re not going to lie, Robert doesn’t look entirely comfortable in some of the seat photos… but, he certainly looks like he’s having fun when he has a quiet second with his son – fist bumping fist to fist sweet moment.
In fact… it seems Indio doesn’t share his father’s sense of style – opting for a more toned-down black sweater. But he’s also wearing a helmet, so it looks like Papa Downey may have won the argument.
Just to break down the family dynamics real quick… Indio is Robert’s son with his ex-wife Débora Falcoeiro to whom he was married from 1992 to 2004. He married his current wife, Susanathe following year, and they share two children: daughter Avri and son Exton.
Either way… it looks like Robert is enjoying some much-needed rest and recuperation after securing his first Oscar W – taking home the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Oppenheimer” earlier this month.
