Riley strainHis grieving family is ordering a second private autopsy for him after the first found no signs of foul play – this after new details emerged about his death.
The 22-year-old had no cowboy boots, pants or license when he was pulled from the Cumberland River two weeks after disappearing from Lucas Bryanat the Nashville bar on March 8.

But, Chris Dingmana family friend who serves as spokesperson, said NewsNation Riley was wearing all of these items the night she disappeared… leading them to believe her death was more than accidental.
Also the preliminary report confirmed the absence of water in his lungs… raising serious concerns that he may have been dead before entering the water and casting doubt on the assumption that he drowned.
Dingman explains that the additional autopsy performed by an independent private company is motivated by the family’s need to resolve any lingering questions surrounding Strain’s death.
The investigation into Strain’s death remains open… and his funeral is scheduled for Friday in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri.
