Joe Liebermanwho was Al Goreco-worker in the disputed 2000 elections, is dead after suffering a fall at home.
The former U.S. senator’s family says he fell at home Tuesday night and died Wednesday.
Joe was first elected to the Senate, representing Connecticut, in 1989… and retired in 2013. He was a Democrat for most of his political career, but declared himself an Impartial towards the end of his political career.
Gore chose him to be his vice president during the highly contested 2000 White House marketing campaign, which in fact George W. Bush finally received.
Joe himself decided to run for president in 2004, but lost the primary to the senator. John Kerry. In 2008, he became famous for his loyalty to the occasion and supported the senator.
