Sean “Diddy” Combs has seven children, and his daughters and sons are on fans’ minds following the news that the rapper’s longtime associate was arrested. There is immediate suspicion that he could be next.
After months horrible allegations against the rapper, the world saw Diddy apparently ran away as authorities approached.
But wherever this complex set of legal cases goes, it will impact others.
The alleged victims. Diddy’s potential co-defendants. And, of course, her family.
How many children does Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs have?
Diddy has seven children. He welcomed his first child, a son named Justin Combs, in 1993 with fashion designer and fashion designer Misa HIlton.
In 1994, he started dating Kimberly Porter. His son, Quincy Taylor Brown, was just 3 years old at the time. Diddy adopted and raised him.
Diddy and Porter also had biological children. In 1998, they had a son, Christian – although some know him better as King Combs.
Then, in December 2006, Diddy and Kimberly Porter welcomed twins. However, D’Lila and Jessie weren’t actually his first daughters.
Five months earlier, businesswoman Sarah Chapman gave birth to a girl named Chance. Diddy didn’t formally assume responsibility for his first-born daughter until October 2007 and reportedly felt “surprised” by her birth.
Notably, he and Chapman never openly had a romantic relationship.
Diddy’s surprise seventh child
On October 15, 2022, Dana Tran gave birth to Diddy’s seventh child – a daughter named Love Sean Combs.
A few months after welcoming baby No. 7, Diddy took to Twitter to list his children.
Just in case anyone is losing count.
Love is probably Diddy’s only child who is young enough to not fully understand the situation his father finds himself in.
Love’s next youngest siblings are D’Lila and Jessie, who will turn 18 this year. This is more than enough to understand the meaning of Federal agencies raiding your father’s properties.
From Diddy’s adult sons to his adult and almost-adult daughters, they know what it would mean if their father went to prison. And it’s very likely that at least some of them are following the series of horrific lawsuits and accusations against him.
Diddy is in trouble
While Diddy may be a hero in the eyes of his children, others want to see him jailed for a series of alleged sexual assaults and abuses that span decades.
It is certain that some of the accusations do not appear morally seriously – like allegations that he hired longtime sex workers. For many – but not prosecutors – it will make a huge difference whether he allegedly hurt these women, or simply (also allegedly) paid them to do his work.
However, Diddy faces multiple rape accusations and abuse. In addition to the potential legal consequences, it’s likely that millions of former fans will never see him the same way.
On Tuesday, March 26, authorities arrested Diddy’s associate Brendan Paul – a former Syracuse University basketball player. This was at Opa Locka Airport, north of Miami.
Authorities arrested him on charges of cocaine possession. He was reportedly trying to board Diddy’s private jet.
Notably, one of Diddy’s accusers claimed that Brendan Paul worked as a drug dealer for Diddy. It’s possible — even likely — that there’s more to the case against Diddy than fans or his children suspect.
Which of Diddy’s children were there during the raids?
According to what law enforcement sources told ABC News, two of Diddy’s children were “allegedly detained at the scene” during the operation in Los Angeles.
Detaining anyone on site during an operation is apparently standard procedure. The two were reportedly released without charge.
TMZ reports that Justin and King Combs it was the two children who were present.
Justin turns 30 in 2023 and Christian “King” Combs is in his 20s, so while this was undoubtedly scary, it would have been scarier if his much younger brothers were present.
As you can see in the Page Six video above, Page six reports that these same adult children returned to fix Diddy’s house in Los Angeles before making a quick start. Diddy, the report detailed, was also present.
Legal experts expect a list of charges against Diddy to be filed soon after attacks of this magnitude. For now, it appears these men were just helping the father pack his belongings.
