Disney+ subscribers who also pay Hulu You can watch both on the same app.
Starting today, you can stream Hulu content on your Disney+ account – as long as you’re already paying for both. Simply log into your Disney+ account and look for the Hulu tab among the many other Disney+ brands such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. (The image above comes from the Hulu hub of my Disney+ account. And yes, my Disney+ icon is Spider-Man. Would you expect anything else?)
In a press release, Disney said that “subscribers will see the full Hulu experience on Disney+, which includes Hulu titles integrated into recommendations, bundles and collections on Disney+, making it easy to discover thousands of general entertainment titles and explore the impressive breadth and depth of Hulu and Disney+ Content through a more personalized experience – without the need to switch between apps.”

When Disney+ launched, it was marketed as a streaming service exclusively for families and family-friendly content, with Disney-owned Hulu being used as a separate, isolated streaming service designed to house the most popular films and television series. matures from Disney and Fox.
Over time, however, the separation between the two sites became more blurred, as Disney+ added some adult content (such as R-rated Dead Pool films and Logan) and with some shows debuting simultaneously on both services, and now a full Hulu experience added to Disney+.
Disney CTO Aaron LaBerge called it “the most significant technical, operational and product evolution for Disney+ since its launch.” If you only subscribe to Hulu and no Disney+, Hulu’s separate app and website, still exists. Nothing has changed there until now.
As a user of both services, I think the big question is: how long will people want to pay twice for something that ends up being condensed into one app? I assume cable subscribers pay for different levels of service; cable with HBO and Showtime costs more than without it, for example. Is this so different?
