Eva Mendes explains why she stopped acting after having children with Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes put her acting career on the back burner after having children with Ryan Gosling – something that makes her happy… since she has no problem with him bringing home the bacon.

The actress talked to “Today” about a number of things in an interview this week — and she addressed her work-life dynamics with her partner…who she’s been with for several years. Eva and Ryan share two daughters…a 9-year-old and a 7-year-old.

On the subject of leaving acting, Eva says it was a no-brainer – adding that she values ​​being a full-time mother and spending time with her children, which she says is a lot of work. EM also says that she looks for other opportunities, but only does that at home.

She explains: “It was almost like a non-verbal agreement like, ‘Okay, he’s going to work and I’m going to work, I’m just going to work here.’” it’s okay with Ryan being the family breadwinner… and he’s certainly making money.
