Jenn Tran is getting her own chance at love!
After things didn’t work out between her and Joey GraziadeiLexi was announced as the protagonist of the 21st season of The Bachelorette.
During the live portion of The Bachelorfinale of the 28th season, franchise presenter Jesse Palmer brought the last bachelorette party, Charity Lawsonto reveal that the student physician assistant would have another chance to find the one.
Jenn touched fans’ hearts when she opened up to Joey about her estranged relationship with her father, which she said has impacted her relationships with men in the past. Joey finally sent Jenn packing before Hometowns, leaving many rooting for her to land the role on The Bachelorette.
“I’m looking for someone who has a big personality,” she told Jesse. “…If we spend the entire night literally making fun of each other, that would be the most ideal night ever.”
As for her hopes for the process, Jenn said she wants to find “her person” who is her “perfect match.”
“I guess I’ll know when I find him,” she said.
When it comes to being the first Asian Bachelorette, Jenn said, “It’s honestly amazing. I feel very, very grateful and very honored.”
In a press release for the upcoming season, ABC described Jenn as “a sweet, compassionate woman who has dedicated her life to helping others.”
“The bilingual Vietnamese beauty currently lives in Miami and is ready to find love with a man as trustworthy and caring as she is,” the network added.
As for why Joey’s runner-upDaisy, didn’t get the role, the account executive explained: “My life this past year has been crazy… I’m healthy and happy and I haven’t had those two things in a long time. .. At the moment, no, I’m not ready. And that’s okay. I’m really proud of myself for realizing this. “
Season 21 of The Bachelorette will premiere in July on ABC.
