BACKGROUND
Timothée Chalametis back… channeling your inner self Bob Dylan while filming the legend’s biopic, “A Complete Unknown,” in New York.
You have to see the video… the 28-year-old nailed the singer-songwriter’s signature style on Sunday in midtown Manhattan, wearing a brown suede jacket, green pants, sunglasses and perfectly messy hair while getting out of a car with a cigarette in his hand.
The ‘Dune’ actor brings Dylan’s swagger to life by crossing the street in front of El Quijote, the restaurant inside the Chelsea Hotel – the same place where the musical legend found his inspiration!
The attention to detail on set is unreal… Timothée is surrounded by a fleet of 60s and 70s inspired cars, transporting us back in time!
He’s been super busy this month filming several scenes for the film in New York… and not only is he killing it in the style game, but he’s also showing off his musical talent by singing for the role.
TC is no newbie when it comes to singing, as seen in his recent film “Wonka” — but channeling the 10-time Grammy winner’s voice is a whole different ballgame, so it’ll be fascinating to see how he fares.
As for the biopic itself, the director James Mangold, told Collider last year that it follows a “young 19-year-old Bob Dylan coming to New York with two dollars in his pocket” before “becoming a worldwide sensation within three years.” Just like a rolling stone!
