This phrase “No, Diddy” may apparently refer to the allegations of sexual misconduct against Puff, specifically the allegations involving other men. Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones processed the CEO of Bad Boy for sexual harassment and assault in February.
The music producer is seeking $30 million in damages. The music mogul maintains his innocence.
As previously reported, an agreement was reached with singer Cassie. His ex-girlfriend sued him for sexual assault and human trafficking.
Social media reacts to new slang
A commenter on The Shaderoom’s post about the phrase noted that the Grammy winner would try to disassociate himself from the nickname.
@robertverified stated, “Diddy about to change his name for the 64th time.”
@eyeseeenergy_ wasn’t feeling the phrase saying, “That’s honestly cheesy.”
Some Roomies found the phrase comical and appropriate.
@moongard3m stated, “Unfortunately the name fits perfectly with the context.”
“..so we are replacing, without homo, pause and sus without diddy? I understand haha,” @etcali wrote.
However, some people are upset.
“This is NOT a trend” @justjasminenoelle wrote. “Just ignorance and further showing how we lack responsibility in the black community. You will never hear a white person say “NO WOODY” or “NO CHARLIE”.
