A standard episode of the children’s program Blue is just seven minutes long. That’s part of the show’s appeal – the stories are so short that they’re perfect for short attention spans. (In this case, plots can also be simple and silly, like “Bluey and Bingo make Bandit and Chilli dance” without having to make it more complicated than that.)
But all that is about to change, with Disney+ set to premiere “The Sign,” an extra-long episode of Blue – the longest ever made. Typically, when a show says it has a “very special episode” planned, it means someone is going to die or maybe Jessie Spano is about to get addicted to caffeine pills.
Not this time. This is a legitimately special episode of Blue. Instead of seven minutes, “The Sign” runs a full 28 minutes. Four BlueIs it back to back? Your kids will freak out.
