A third suspect was arrested in connection with the mortal Shooting at Kansas City Chiefs parade.
According to CBS News, the man was taken into custody after being identified through surveillance footage. Police not only used surveillance footage, but also utilized social media and cell phone records.

The parade shooting suspect, TErry Young, 20, was arrested and charged with murder on Wednesday (March 20). Young faces one count of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Prosecutors are pushing for $1 million bail for him and the other suspects.
How was the alleged suspect in the parade shooting identified?
According to prosecutors, an argument began after Young and two other individuals approached another group. Surveillance footage revealed a heated argument between two people. Then, a person brandished a gun. The video allegedly shows Young spotting the gun, approaching the man and opening fire.
Authorities say Terry dressed an exclusive green and yellow teddy bear backpack for the parade. He also used the bag in videos previously posted on his YouTube channel. Additionally, Young’s purse matched the one used by the individual who shot in the surveillance video.
Jackson County Prosecutor John Peters Baker explained: “Everyone we identified who discharged a firearm in response to the verbal altercation… was taken into custody.”
Terry’s alleged involvement text messages
Cell phone records from two other suspects linked Young to the crime. Authorities say a group chat allegedly included a message from him, for TMZ.
“I dropped that first damn shot.”
Additionally, authorities said social media linked Young to other men arrested in the shooting. They found Young’s Facebook page which allegedly revealed him fighting with the individuals. Furthermore, he boasted about his weapons.
Several people were allegedly involved in the shooting. Dominic Miller18 and Lydell Mays23 years old, are currently behind bars, as well as two unidentified young men.
Additionally, a third young man, aged 15, was arrested on Wednesday (March 20). He faces two felonies, armed criminal action and illegal use of a weapon for allegedly shooting someone. The Office of the Juvenile Officer stated a hearing is scheduled to determine whether he should be tried as an adult.
Lisa Lopez-Galvan was killed in the fatal parade shooting and 20 other people were injured.
