Princess DianaHis brother, Earl Charles Spencer, is a man of few words, but his message to Kate Middleton resonated with everyone wishing him a healthy and speedy recovery.
Charles took to Instagram on Saturday and posted a screenshot of Kate’s video announcement, in which she shared to the world on Friday that she was diagnosed with cancer. In his caption, Charles was succinct but supportive. “Incredible posture and strength,” he wrote.
Charles’ followers in the comments section praised him for his words of encouragement.
“Her sister would be so proud of her and William,” one person wrote. Another added: “I agree! An emblem of strength and valor! I certainly hope everyone lets her heal in peace, privacy and love! My regards to you, your nephew, niece and family!”
Diana died in a car accident in Paris, France, with her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, after being chased by paparazzi. She was 36 years old.
Earlier this week – and before Kate’s health update – Charles also weighed in on the continuous rumors and speculation about Kate’s whereabouts and condition.
“I worry about what happened to the truth,” the 59-year-old told the UK TV show Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg amidst the wild online conspiracy theories.
Charles, however, said that the conspiracy theories popping up everywhere are not as dangerous as they once were for his late sister.
“I think it was more dangerous back in the day,” he shared. “If I look back to 1997 and Diana’s death, I think it was so shocking, the circumstances of her death were so shocking that it made the industry that supports the paparazzi really consider more carefully what they could and couldn’t do. not because they had a moral judgment, but because it was unacceptable to the public.”
In any event, Prince WilliamHis wife is currently undergoing treatment to deal with undisclosed cancer. She said in her announcement that she is taking a course in preventive chemotherapy and that she is “now in the early stages of this treatment.”
