Princess Kate, 42, revealed her diagnosis in a video that was reportedly filmed on Wednesday. However, it was only released to the public on Friday.
What did Kate reveal about her health?
She said the diagnosis was “a huge shock, and William and I have done everything we can to process and manage this privately, for the sake of our young family.”
Kate shared in the video that she was under the impression she didn’t have cancer until surgery revealed otherwise.
O real asked for “time, space and privacy” while she underwent treatment.
Additionally, she talked about how she is feeling.
“I’m fine,” Kate said in the video.
“I’m getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal,” she added.
The princess did not reveal what type of cancer she had.
Kensington Palace shared that she would undergo abdominal surgery in January. The institution stated that the procedure was not related to cancer and that the surgery was successful. According to SHOVEL reports, they explained that Kate was recovering and would not be able to make public appearances until April.
