Gary Goldsmith took to social media on Friday to announce that he would not be taking part in the show’s final that night, following his niece’s announcement to the world that she is battling cancer and is going through preventive chemotherapy sessions.
“Following today’s news, I will not be attending tonight’s event Celebrity Big Brother final”, Goldsmith tweeted Friday afternoon. “I would like to extend my sincere thanks to my housemates and everyone involved in putting on this brilliant show. I hope everyone enjoys your special night.
Later that day, Goldsmith shared that he showed up on Saturday London timesbut he clarified that the interview was conducted a week before Middleton shared her health update.
“This interview and footage was done over a week ago and was printed before I learned the sad news about my niece Kate,” Goldsmith said. tweeted. “My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the entire family at this difficult time and deeply upset at the timing of this article. I hope this draws a line under the continued speculation and horrible conspiracies. Let’s give Kate, William and the children time and show some love back.
