Blake Lively is apologizing Kate Middleton for mocking the now-infamous photoshopped image of the princess before Friday’s big cancer reveal.
The actress posted a message on Instagram hours after Kate told the world about his cancer diagnosis in a video released by Kensington Palace – the home of Kate and Prince Williamfamily.
Blake started off by saying that she needed to get something off her chest, although no one cared considering the atomic bomb Kate had just dropped.
But Blake took the plunge… writing, she created a “silly post about the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy and oh man, it left me mortified today.”
She added: “I’m so sorry. Sending love and well wishes to everyone, always.”
Of course, Blake was trying to make up for posting a clearly edited image promoting his beverage business, Betty Buzz, which featured an unusually large thumb and a floating lemon.
Blake was referring to Kate edited photo from “Mother’s Day” which triggered a hodgepodge of theories about what was wrong with the Princess of Wales.
Then, in the caption, Blake said she was “so excited” to share the photo of Betty Buzz before she shot Kate, stating, “Now you know why I’m missing.”
As you know, Kate disappeared from the public eye while dealing with her cancer, which was discovered during stomach surgery in January.
