kim kardashian is remembering her aunt Karen Houghton. The 43-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Thursday night, sharing a tribute post.
“🕊️I love you so much Aunt Karen🕊️,” Kim captioned a series of throwback photos of Kris Jennerthe younger sister.
The vintage photos from the ’80s and ’90s feature several members of the famous Kardashian family, including the late Robert Kardashian, Kim’s older sister Kourtney Kardashian, younger sister KhloĂ© Kardashian, and more.
Kourtney commented on the post, “Aunt Karen ❤.”
Karen died unexpectedly on March 18. She was 65 years old. TMZ, Houghton’s death was reported to San Diego County authorities on Monday and his death is being attributed to natural causes. No further details were released.
Kris previously paid tribute to her late sister in a moving post, writing: “It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away unexpectedly yesterday. My heart aches for my mother MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive and vulnerable and so funny. She always felt grateful and grateful for her life and valued her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter. She occupies a huge part of my heart and I cherish every memory we have together. Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and that tomorrow is never promised. We should tell the people we love how much we love them. I love you, my beautiful sister.
Karen was Kris’s only sister. She was the mother of a 26-year-old daughter, Natalie Zettel.
Natalie also posted a tribute to her late mother on Instagram, writing, “Dear Mommy, I can’t believe you’re gone. It doesn’t even feel real. I keep hoping I can hug you or kiss you or hear your voice one last time. You were mine best friend, my everything. The best mother a daughter could ask for and I’m so grateful to have had a mother like you. You were the kindest, sweetest, loving, generous and caring soul. You had the biggest heart. And I didn’t “

Kris and Karen shared mother MJ and father Robert Houghton – who died in 1975 after a car accident. Karen is survived by her sister, her daughter, her mother, and her many nieces and nephews.
