Kate Middleton reveals cancer prognosis and started chemotherapy

After weeks of speculation about his well-being and her whereaboutsMiddleton shared a video in which she revealed that she is battling cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.

“I underwent abdominal surgery in London and at the time my condition was thought to be non-cancerous,” Middleton shared. “The surgical procedure was cost-effective. However, tests after the operation found that most of the cancers were present.”

She continued: “My medical team advice therefore suggested that I should have preventive chemotherapy treatment and I am now in the early stages of this treatment.”

Middleton went on to call the information a “huge shock” and noted that she and her husband, Prince Williamhave been doing “everything” they can to “process and deal with this privately for the sake of our young family.”

“As you can imagine, this took time. It took me some time to recover from the major surgery to start my treatment. But most importantly, we took time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that was acceptable to them and to reassure them that I will be fine,” she explained.

Middleton also noted that she has told her children that she is “cool” and is getting stronger every day as she focuses on things that can help her heal, “in my mind, body and spirit.”

She also took a moment to thank William for being by her side during this difficult time, as well as for the “help and kindness” shown by people around the world as she works to recover.

What Middleton and her family are asking for now, more than ever, is some “time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment.

“We hope you understand that as a family we need time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment,” she insisted. “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I hope to be back when I am ready, but for now I have to focus on making a full recovery.”

“I am also currently thinking about all those whose lives have been affected by cancer,” Middleton added. “To everyone going through this illness, of any kind, please do not lose religion or hope. You are not alone.”

The announcement comes more than two months after Middleton was admitted to the London Clinic for what Kensington Palace described in an official statement as a “deliberate surgical procedure on the stomach.”

The statement further noted that “based on current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties before Easter,” which is Sunday, March 31. .

Kensington Palace offered few updates on Middleton’s condition, only releasing an announcement days later that her surgery was “profitable” and her condition was non-cancerous. She was further informed that she would remain in hospital for approximately two weeks, after which she would return to her home to continue her recovery.

Middleton was formally released from the hospital on January 29 and told he would return home to Windsor.

“The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery. She is making good progress,” said an announcement from Kensington Palace. “The Prince and Princess would like to say a huge thank you to the entire workforce at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they provided.”

Amidst Middleton’s health problems, King Charles was diagnosed with “a form of cancer”, causing concern for the growing royal family, with Prince Harry even flying in to examine his father.

Hypotheses about problems in the palace, especially where Middleton was involved, literally increased in March, when the first post-operative photos of the Princess of Wales were released.

Middleton was seen in an automobile being pushed by her mother, Carole, near Windsor Fort, for TMZ. But the image did little to quell speculation that something had happened to the princess, with some on social media speculating that the grainy image was hardly definitive proof – with some going so far as to suggest that it was a body double. .

The most controversial moment since her last official look came just days later, when the princess shared a family photo for Mother’s Day in the UK, which was immediately ripped up. After publishing the image, the Associated Press even published a rare “death finding” because it allegedly didn’t meet their standards. Getty also took the photo.

The AP cited obvious image manipulation on Princess Charlotte’s right hand, but online sleuths took things much further, finding several instances of obvious image manipulation throughout the officially released image. In response to the palace, Prince William took the image to his country home in Windsor.

Later, after the authenticity of her Mother’s Day photo was questioned, a message in Middleton’s name was posted on X/Twitter, with the princess taking responsibility for the discovered photo manipulations.

“Like many beginning photographers, I sometimes experiment with improvements,” the message says. “I would like to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.”

Information from the sky dug into the image’s metadata and discovered that it was saved in Photoshop on an Apple MacBook, once on Friday night and again on Saturday morning, before it was released. TMZ identified five notable situations that he believes have been changed, noting “it’s just a handful,” with others noting more.

Queen Camilla and Prince William continued to clash with King Charles on public occasions, most notably at the United Kingdom’s Commonwealth Day celebrations, with Middleton finally – apparently – noticed in public on March 16, with eyewitnesses telling The Solar who noticed Kate and William at the Windsor Farm Store, a mile from their home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

Viewers said the princess looked “absolutely happy, relaxed and healthy.” The media outlet also reported that the couple saw their children “participate in sporting activities” that morning. TMZ shared a video of Kate and William’s shopping trip the weekend before, confirming eyewitness comments, however, which were still left unturned, with many online saying it wasn’t actually Kate who was in it.

Despite the push again, Kate’s best-known lookalike, Heidi Agan, spoke out saying she was even convinced it was the real deal in the video, for TMZ.

While Middleton didn’t address the ongoing rumors, she made it clear that her focus was on restoring Easter, per doctors’ orders.

As for when Charles – despite rumors that he died – is he alive and well, there will be official photos confirming his whereabouts. As for when he will return to public duties, that remains to be seen.
