A woman has touched thousands of people with her heartbreaking and moving message affirming her own death on social media. At just 25 years old, Daniella Thackray lost her battle against cancer, but won the hearts of many.

“In my case, even though I was very healthy and energetic, most of the cancers started in my bile ducts, which was not caused by anything in my control, and my life has never been the same,” she wrote.
“Cholangiocarinoma is a rare type of cancer that attacks most types of cancer, often with no apparent cause and no treatment,” she continued. “I really hope that in the coming years more research will be done into this horrible and merciless disease so that more lives can be saved.”

After Thackray’s single message went viral, Calvert responded to it on LinkedIn, as captured by The daily mail. “My beautiful and brave fiance (sic), you continue to encourage so many other people like you have impressed me every day to keep going,” he wrote. “Your courage, dedication and kindness were contagious and you too deserved the world.”
“Unfortunately, the world let you fall and your future was taken from you in such a merciless way,” he continued. “But you lived such an incredible life and were so loved.”
He then spoke about the influence of her message, writing: “I’m glad Daniella’s quotes resonate with so many others. If she sees the traction her message is getting, she will be very proud.”

“She was the boldest, smartest, most professional person I have ever met,” he continued, emphasizing how much she valued her work and how valued she felt there. “I miss you, Daniella, and I am extremely pleased with you now and forever,” he concluded his message.
On both platforms, Thackray’s message was met with warmth and tears. Her Facebook post, which has nearly 300 comments and more than 2,500 reactions, includes personal reactions from people who knew her as well as those just touched by her words.
