Peta Murgatroyd It is Maksim Chmerkovsky are adding another boy to their family! On thursday, the couple took to Instagram to announce that they are expecting a third child to join brothers Shai, 7, and Rio, nine months.
In a cute video, the whole family gathered for a photo shoot all dressed in black, with giant pink and blue balloons around them. They learned the happy news by throwing blue powder and cutting a cake filled with blue sprinkles.
“It’s a……. BOY! 🩵🩵🩵” Murgatroyd wrote alongside the video. “I’ve been quietly preparing to be a real life wolf pack mommy with our THIRD boy on the way 🙏🏻🤣💙 I CAN’T BELIEVE WE’RE GONNA HAVE 3 BOYS!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
“Maks and I are so happy to have another friend for Shai and Rio… we want them to be best friends and the thought of family dinners makes us laugh!” she continued. “Not to mention that when Rio turns 1, I will give birth to this bundle of joy a few weeks later 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 LET THE GAMES BEGIN….”
O Dancing with the stars alumni, who got married in 2017, announced your baby on the way in February, a few months after receiving Rio.
“After everything we’ve been through with miscarriages and IVF, we are beyond blessed and know we are so lucky to have this miracle happen to us,” Murgatroyd captioned a video of her surprising her husband with the happy news. “We are so happy to finally be able to tell you the good news 🥹.”
When ET spoke with Chmerkovskiy shortly afterward, he gushed about expanding your family.
“For me, I always wanted a family, I always wanted children, it’s documented. I wanted kids before I wanted to get married and, you know, the biggest foundation is Peta, when you find the right person,” he said. . “You want to do all the things with this person, and I think we found ourselves that way.”
