Prepare to return to Westeros. As Dragon House prepare for your long awaited second seasona fiery new trailer for the HBO series was released on Thursday.
War is on the horizon in what is being dubbed the “Green trailer” and “Black trailer” as a reference to the battle between the Black Council and the Green Council.
“There are two sides to every story,” say Tom Glynn Carney and Emma D’Arcy in an introductory video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Watch them both and choose a side.”

The teasers arrive just one day after the network revealed a collection of character art teasing the “All Must Choose” tagline. In the scenes, each of the main players in the Targaryen battle for the Iron Throne look menacingly at each other.
Dragon Housethe first season ended with a dramatic twistas alliances were forged in battle between the Black Council – those who support Rhaenyra’s claim to the throne – and the Green Council – the conspirators who aided Aegon’s rise after the death of King Viserys (played by Paddy Considine, who will certainly be missed). O The Game of Thrones prequel is based on the novel by George RR Martin, Fire and Bloodwhich is a history book that chronicles notable events in Westeros in the 200 years before the original series.
WARM will continue to explore the infighting and intrigue surrounding House Targaryen.
The show is set to return in June, nearly two years after the first season aired. Returning players include Prince Daemon (matt smith) and his niece-turned-wife, Princess Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy), Queen Alicent (Olivia Cooke), his father, Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), his children, Prince Aemond (Ewan Mitchell), King Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) and Helaena (Phia Saban), and his loyal servant, Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel ). Princess Rhaenys (Eve Best) and Corlys, also known as Sea Snake (Steve Toussaint) will also be back.
Other actors joining the series are Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon. Strong, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers and Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull.
Equally important, showrunner Ryan Condal said The Hollywood Reporter last year, viewers will “meet five new dragons” this season.
In December, fans were treated to the first look in the next episodes.
“There is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin,” said Rhaenys in the first trailer. “And there is no war as bloody as a war between dragons.”
