On Wednesday, Netflix announced that the Pitch perfect actress, 41, has joined the cast of the hit series starring Penn Badgley for its final season, which has not yet received a release date.
In a tweet, the streaming service shared that Camp has been cast alongside The flight attendant alumnus Griffin Matthews, whose character also has a familial connection to the series’ protagonist, Joe Goldberg, played by Badgley.

The actor and actress will play the siblings of Joe’s season 4 wife, Kate Galvin, played by Charlotte Ritchie.
Casting news comes just two weeks later Deadline first reported that season 5 has found a new woman to pique Joe’s interest The Handmaid’s Tale star Madeline Brewer. According to a statement from Netflix Tudumthe 31-year-old actress will play Bronte, an “enigmatic, free-spirited playwright” who connects with Joe “over literature and loss.”
“Bronte awakens in Joe nostalgia for his old self, making him question everything his life has become,” the streaming service shared about the Orange is the new black actress’ role in the next season.
On March 8, Brewer confirmed his casting on the show through a post on Instagramcaptioning a photo of Deadline article, “Hello, @younetflix.”
That same month, ET reported that the series would return for a fifth and final season after executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter confirmed that they always conceived of the show as a “five-season journey.” Season 4 saw Joe taking his bloody exploits to the UK after stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
“We are proud to see how You has captivated audiences around the world, becoming an instant sensation on Netflix with a resounding cultural impact that has grown season after season,” said Peter Friedlander, vice president of scripted series for Netflix in the US and Canada. “We’re thrilled – and a little terrified – to see how it all ends for Joe Goldberg, but one thing is certain: you’re in for an unforgettable ending.”
After the end of season 4, ET spoke with Badgley37, who said a crazy ending was all but guaranteed for fans who have held out since the first season.
“He’ll probably be quite upset, I think,” said the gossip Girl actor speculated.
At the time, he also added that while he wasn’t sure what the ending would be, Berlanti’s murmurings about how the show might end were promising, to say the least.
“I will say that Greg Berlanti gave me an ending and I thought it was brilliant,” the actor shared. “I can’t tell you what it is. He pitched it to me a year and a half ago, before I knew it was happening, in Season 4. He also told me how he thought it would end in Season 5 and I was like, ‘Yeah, that it’s great.'”
