Jessica Simpson It is Eric Johnson the youngest daughter is growing up!
On Tuesday, the 43-year-old actress and her former football player husband, 44, celebrated Birdie Mae Johnson’s birthday, who turned 5 on March 19.
In sweet photos shared on Instagram, the proud mom and dad can be seen celebrating Birdie with a day at Disneyland and attending an event at her school, reading to the other kids in their class.
In one photo, the couple – who got married in 2014 – posing alongside their third child, with Jessica and Birdie both sporting adorable Minnie Mouse ears, while Eric opted for a Boston Celtics jersey. Birdie also wore a matching Minnie costume and two special commemorative Disneyland pins announcing her birthday and her first trip to the Anaheim theme park.
The doting parents also shared photos from inside the Star Wars Rise of the Resistance ride, in which their other two children, Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 11, and Ace Knute, 10, smile for the camera. Ace followed his dad, wearing a Celtics jersey, while Maxi kept it casual in a white t-shirt and denim overalls. Photo includes appearances of Jessica’s sister Ashley Simpsonand his mother, Tina Simpson, too.
Other photos shared by the couple include a selfie with Jessica’s father, Joe Simpson, and several family members and friends attending the celebration of the youngest member of the Simpson-Johnson crew.
Instead of a cake, it looks like Birdie received some festive donuts from Blinkie’s Donuts in Los Angeles on her special day. The multicolored baked goods read “Happy Birthday, Little Bird,” to which she reacted sweetly in a photo where she smiles and holds one of the donuts.
The adorable photos arrive two months after Jessica starred alongside his eldest son in an ad for Chicken of the Sea tuna, imitating his iconic mistake from his 2000s TV show.
“It’s called Chicken of the Sea, but it’s not actually chicken, it’s tuna, so don’t get confused by that,” Jessica told Maxi in the commercial.
The pre-teen looks perplexed as she responds: “Who would be confused by that?”
“No one – not even your mother,” Jessica retorts, looking away as her face falls dramatically.
The exchange is a direct reference to Jessica telling her ex-husband Nick Lachey on the then couple’s reality show in 2003, Just marriedthat she was confused about how chicken comes from the sea.
