Everything Dalton Gomez Got From Ariana Grande In Their Divorce
For context, Ariana and Dalton first got together in February 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, for PEOPLE. In March of that year, the same vehicle confirmed the romantic relationship. In December 2020, the pair got engaged. Several months later, in May 2021, they were married at their home in Montecito, California.
Less than two years into their marriage, their marriage hit a few bumps as the world started to open up again. The divorce petition lists the official separation date as February 20, 2023.
Several media outlets reported that the split was amicable. This is likely and in part due to the prenuptial agreement the former couple had in place. Ariana finally had to give Dalton Gomez a check for $1,250,000. And guess what? This lump sum was supposedly tax-free! But since it was an advance payment, Dalton will not receive any child support.
However, he will earn half of the profits from the sale of his Los Angeles home. She also graciously agreed to offer him $25,000 to pay his divorce lawyer’s fees.
In October, a source told TMZ that there is still mutual love between Ariana and Gomez.
“There is still a strong love and mutual respect between Ariana and Dalton and they wanted to make sure everything was done in sync with each other,” the source said.
What’s up with Ariana now?
That appears to be the case even with Ariana’s hot summer in 2023. The singer is rumored to be dating Ethan Slater after several sightings together. TMZ reported in December 2023 that they moved in together.
And for anyone talking about their love life decisions. Grande unleashed claps in January with her track, ‘Yes And?’ Final point, sis!
