One of the most infamous television interviews in recent history – and its context – is now the subject of a Netflix film.
To harvest is based on Sam McAlister’s memoir called Scoops: behind the scenes of the BBC’s most shocking interview. The interview in this case is New nightPrince Andrew’s conversation with Prince Andrew about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and his connections to Epstein’s crimes.
In the film, Billie Piper plays McAlister, while Gillian Anderson plays BBC journalist Emily Maitlis. Prince Andrew is played by Rufus Sewell.

Here it is To harvestOfficial synopsis of:
Inspired by real events, SCOOP is the inside account of the tenacious journalism that landed a stunning interview – Prince Andrew’s infamous appearance on BBC Newsnight. From the tension of producer Sam McAlister’s high-stakes negotiations with Buckingham Palace, to Emily Maitlis’ jaw-dropping forensic confrontation with the Prince, SCOOP takes us inside the story, with the women who would stop at nothing to get -there. To land such a big interview, you have to be bold.
To harvest premieres on Netflix on April 5th. Something tells me this one will attract a good amount of viewers on streaming.
