From Buckingham Palace to drinks sales.
Meghan Markle introduced her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, on Thursday, sharing some cryptic posts on a new Instagram account with a teaser video and launching a cryptic website.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, is returning to her pre-royal roots, launching an extension of her former lifestyle blog, “The Tig”, with a source telling website Six Model that it will focus on home, garden, meals and common lifestyle products.

A business source told website Six Model: “She’s been working on it for over a year and it’s all the things that are on her heart – all the things she’s excited about.”
A trademark obtained by the Six Model page reveals that American Riviera Orchard will sell a variety of household items, including edible treats like jellies, jams and spreads and basic tableware like cutlery, tablecloths and cutlery. Cookbooks are also included in the shipment.
A consultant for Markle was unavailable for comment.
The style’s branding incorporates a script-like font reminiscent of Meghan’s handwriting – a look the Duchess often did at weddings in her pre-royal days.
Their website contains no information for real fans to know other than the brand emblem, other than a space to join a “waiting list.”
Still, a video posted to the model’s Instagram Story shows Prince Harry’s wife arranging flowers, cooking in a kitchen and carrying a large black dress down the hallway of what appears to be the couple’s home in Montecito, California.
The California royal is expected to launch a lifestyle/food show with Netflix in hopes of becoming the next Martha Stewart, as Page Six reported in full last month — and the upcoming installment certainly fits the bill.
Her latest move isn’t necessarily a surprise to royal watchers, as rumors swirled in 2020 that Markle was trying to take on Gwyneth Paltrow’s famous Goop brand with the relaunch of her former blog, which she shut down in 2017 before marrying Harry.
While “The Tig” addressed everything from style to beauty and even his thoughts on sister-in-law Kate Middleton, in 2014 condemning the “pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and the unlimited talk about Princess Kate.”
It’s definitely an interesting time for the Duchess to announce her new venture, considering the rampant conspiracy theories about Middleton’s health and whereabouts after her Photoshopped family photo failed amid her recovery from stomach surgery.
As for the subsequent transfer of the American Riviera Orchard, watch this house.
