Jelly roll (born Jason Bradley DeFord) is feeling like a new man after recently undergoing “reconstructive” oral surgery.
On Tuesday, the country singer’s wife, Bunnie XO (née Alisa DeFord), shared a TikTok of him getting various dental procedures done.
“I’m redoing all my teeth. I’ve been using these same veneers for 20 years,” said the 39-year-old star. “I’m finally getting them replaced and I’m getting some implants and some cavities and some wisdom teeth pulled out.
When asked how he was feeling, he jokingly replied, “Sexy.”
“I feel great, man. I feel like I’m finally taking care of things. I want a great smile,” Jelly Roll said. “I had an ugly smile when I was a kid and people criticized me and made fun of me and stuff.”
After the surgery, Jelly Roll leaves the dental office saying, “I slept well.”
Then, upon returning to the car, he gives a big smile to the camera, which is full of gauze.
“Sweet boy,” Bunnie XO captioned the clip.
Recently, Jelly Roll opened for HQ about his extensive tattoo work, admitting that he is no longer a fan of his ink. ‘I regret 98 percent of those tattoos, 97, almost all of them. Like the basic philosophies were ingrained in my life when I was 17 and now I’m 40, I was like, ‘What the fuck was I thinking?'” he said.
One of the tattoos he specifically regrets is a drawing of a baby smoking marijuana, which he confessed was “a little excessive.” The singer also revealed a tattoo of the Nashville skyline on the back of his neck, which covers up a misspelled phrase, “Surviving the Struggle,” by adding the missing ‘t’ for it to be read correctly.
Regarding tattoos, Jelly Roll added: “Almost all of my tattoos represent who I was, almost none of them represent who I am.”
It’s unclear whether he plans to remove any of them.
Bunnie, on the other hand, recently celebrated her one-year anniversary of retirement from sex work. Last week, she took to Facebook to recognize the importance of March 5th.
She previously announced in March 2023, “I just officially shut down my spicy website. What a fun trip this has been.”
Re-sharing the March 2023 post as a memory, she wrote, “Awww a year ago I retired from the SW industry.”
“I was SO scared of giving up that part of my life and leaving behind the money I was making – I wasn’t sure how I was going to make up for that part of my business,” she continued. “But I had faith and let God take care of it and he made sure I recovered 10 times over.”
“So grateful to all of you who believe in me and subscribe to my Patreon, buy merch, listen to the pod, and engage with me daily,” she concluded. “THANKS”
Jelly Roll and Bunnie first crossed paths at one of her shows in 2015. A year later, they got engaged and married on the same day at a chapel in Las Vegas.
Following Bunnie’s birthday post, some commenters expressed their confusion about the timing of her wedding in relation to her previous work, so the 44-year-old set the record straight in a follow-up post.
“A lot of people seem to be confused about how I just retired from SW last year because I’ve been married for 7 years haha.. so here’s the answer. You know everything..” she explained. “I always worked and made money alone. When I married J, I refused to give up my independence and trust only him.”
“And to be honest, he never asked me to do that,” she added. “He knew how important it was for me to make my own money. But he always said, ‘One day, honey, you won’t have to do this anymore.’”
“In 2022, my Bunnie XO business started making as much money – if not more than my SW money,” she continued. “So I couldn’t justify still having that part of my life when the new brand I created was thriving so much.”
She concluded that it was the “best decision I ever made.”
