On the Sensex pack, Housing Growth Finance Company (HDFC) was the highest gainer of the day, climbing 5.5 per cent. It was adopted by Titan Firm, Kotak Mahindra Financial institution, Reliance Industries (RIL), Asian Paints, Tata Metal, Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) and Nestle India. However, Infosys and HCL Applied sciences ended within the purple.
