BSE web site slows down, traders vent on Twitter


NEW DELHI: The BSE web site was unusually sluggish on Monday, traders complained on Twitter. Many traders took to Twitter to say that the web site was not loading correctly since morning on account of which they had been going through issues on an in any other case robust day for the market.

Neither index worth nor company-specific knowledge was seen, they stated.

In a tweet to its account holders, Zerodha stated one could face a difficulty with authorising the sale of shares on account of a difficulty with CDSL. “We’re in contact with CDSL to have the problem resolved on the earliest,” the tweet stated.

Groww, a web based investing platform, in one other tweet stated: “There may be an ongoing concern with the CDSL TPIN authorization throughout all of the buying and selling platforms. We’re in fixed contact with CDSL to get the problem resolved on precedence.”


Shares of CDSL had been buying and selling at Rs 1,409.95 on NSE, up 0.81 per cent. BSE shares had been quoting at Rs 1,427 on NSE, up 2.17 per cent.
