The trailer for Rays* is here, and it’s not what we expected. For one, the trailer is set to the Pixies’ song “Where Is My Mind?” And that’s an apt choice for this trailer because it introduces Bob — a.k.a. the Sentry (played by Lewis Pullman) — to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. And the Sentry is a superhero who struggles with major mental health issues. (If you’re familiar with Marvel comics, you know that’s an understatement!) So this song in this trailer essentially worked as foreshadowing.
This is just one of the fun hidden details, Wonder Easter eggs and little things you might have missed in the new Rays* trailer. In our latest Marvel video, we’ll point out the dozens of references you missed, go through the Sentry’s comic book history, explain who Julia Louis-Dreyfus is playing, and why this movie has an asterisk in the title.
