Mahindra Thar Roxx front profile revealed in Black and White colour options
Mahindra is gradually teasing the Thar Roxx ahead of its launch on August 15. After revealing the face of the 5-door Thar a few days ago, the SUV maker has now revealed the front profile of the Roxx, that too in two colour options – Black and White.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx will be available with a body-coloured grille, as seen here with the white version. Notice the diamond-cut alloy wheels in the side profile, it looks quite classy and sophisticated. Another thing to note is the contrasting black roof that extends downwards with a twist of the C-pillar. It may look out of shape to some, but the black Roxx hides everything and gives it a more aerodynamic look.
The interior is yet to be fully revealed, but as per some leaks and the latest teasers, it will come with a dual-tone dashboard, larger touchscreen infotainment unit with the latest user interface, fully digital instrument cluster, steering wheel borrowed from the XUV700, front armrest, etc.
Some of the features include panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, power driver’s seat, and more.
It will be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, delivering 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque for the entry-level model and 172 hp and 370 Nm for higher variants. There will also be a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, delivering outputs of 160 hp and 330 Nm for the base model and 175 hp and 380 Nm for higher variants. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
