Tiffany Haddish did what he had to do to survive — even if it was a little gross.
In a recent interview with Nick Cannon in your We Play Spades podcast, the Girls trip The star spoke about a confusion she had before she started doing comedy and how she got involved Halle Berry.
Haddish, 44, said that when she was struggling financially, she turned to Craigslist and found a way to make some extra cash.
“I would say my name is Rosalinda and I’m Halle Berry’s housekeeper and I have some of her dirty panties if anyone wants to buy some,” she told Cannon and her co-hosts. “And I would make $300. It was literally on Craigslist.”
She is no longer in the panty business as her career has taken off. Haddish also did not mention whether the Oscar-winning actress found out what she was doing.
Haddish went on to make money from movies, films, books, TV and comedy specials. In June, the She is ready star opened up about her latest gig, singing. Which she put on display with her single “Woman Up.”
Haddish told ET that the song — written by Diane Warren — is about “getting out of bed, getting up and moving.”
She added: “Really, it’s a whole song because everyone has their dual sides,” Haddish clarified. “I’m like an onion; sometimes you catch me in public and you put a camera in my face, I’m like, ‘La da.’ Sometimes you put a camera in my face and catch me outside (and) I’m like, ‘Listen, I’m not in the mood right now.’ There are different levels to it.”
