Elon Musk has finally pulled back the curtain on what Neuralink has been doing behind the scenes – showing its first thread using its technology… and it’s amazing.
The Tesla boss – who also runs Neuralink – posted a link from his company that featured about nine minutes of Neuralink video… and it’s a full testimonial from a man named Noland Arbaugh – a 29-year-old quadriplegic who went under the knife because of this.
He says he had a freak diving accident about 8 years ago that left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. After hearing about what Neuralink could do, he signed up.
The clip goes on to show how exactly the experiment works – and sure enough… you can see Noland using his mind to move a mouse on a laptop that is set up in front of him… on which the man is playing chess. It looks pretty perfect, and he received everything perfectly!
Noland is able to move chess pieces on the screen or even turn off the music – all simply by thinking where he wants the mouse to go. He goes a little deeper into describing how precisely he does this… saying that he is implementing something called imagined movement, trying to move away from the attempted movement with a lot of mental energy.
Like we said… he certainly seems to have a knack for it now – and even more amazing is how well he seems to be doing post-op, which is another thing he covers in this video.

Noland offers a strong endorsement of Neuralink – acknowledging that there is still a lot of work to do to improve it… but saying that the progress they have made so far is promising. He says the number of people this can help is staggering… and he’s happy to be patient #1.
They’re pretty powerful visuals… and you have to keep in mind that more people are going to put their names forward as guinea pigs for this effort – especially seeing how well it’s gone so far.
Welcome to the long run!
