The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman added that Iran remains “determined to prosecute Trump for his direct role in the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani.”
He was the head of the Quds Force, which is Iran’s foreign operations arm and an elite unit of the Revolutionary Guards that oversaw Iranian military operations in the Middle East.
Earlier, the Iranian delegation to the UN had also described the accusations leveled at Tehran as “baseless” and “malicious”.
