Attica Bank and Deutsche Bank have signed a loan agreement with Jasper Wind SA to finance renewable energy projects in the Peloponnese
According to a relevant press release, this involves financing the construction and operation of three wind farms with a total capacity of 41 MW in the Prefecture of Lakonia for an amount of 63 million euros. The project, totaling 80 million euros, was financed with long-term loans and Jasper’s own capital. Construction of the projects, which began in 2023, is proceeding at an accelerated pace and the start of operations is scheduled for September 2024.
Attica Bank acted as Lead Arranger and Deutsche Bank as Structuring, marking the Bank’s cooperation in Renewable Energy projects with one of the most important financial groups in Europe.
Jasper Aeolica Hellados, founded in 1998, is a pioneer in the field of renewable energy from wind and photovoltaic energy, and is today the largest Greek Independent Power Producer (IPP), with an installed capacity approaching 200 MW after the completion of all three new wind farms. Its projects under development exceed 1000 MW in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania.
