Lenny Kravitz interrupted one of his shows to answer an important phone call!
Over the weekend, the “American Woman” rocker took to Instagram to share the moment he received a call from his friend, Denzel Washingtonduring one of their shows as part of their Blue Electric Light tour.
“When your brother calls and you’re in the middle of a show. 🎥: @rossss_mia,” the 60-year-old rocker captioned the moment.
In the video, Kravitz walked up to the microphone with his phone in hand and informed the crowd about the call. “Sorry, my big brother just called me to say hi,” the “TK412” singer told the crowd.
Kravitz walked around the stage, holding his phone out toward the crowd. Just in case anyone was confused about who was on the other end of the call, Kravitz told viewers it was, in fact, Washington.
“You know Denzel Washington,” he said as the crowd erupted in cheers. Kravitz held up the phone to his cameraman to give fans a closer look at the Oscar-winning actor, who was smiling and enjoying the moment.
“Okay, bro, I love you, I’ll call you later,” Kravitz told his friend before hanging up.

“He’s more than a friend, he’s more than a brother, we’re twins. We just don’t look alike,” Washington joked about Kravitz. “God blessed him with an unbelievable talent, but even more so, an unbelievable heart.”
Kravitz’s Blue Electric Light tour was full of moments.
