Tackling racism on ‘The Bachelor: The Ladies Tell All’ emphasizes: “People are so quick to be little keyboard warriors and stand out because there are no penalties, but we have to pay the results emotionally and mentally.”
It was an exciting edition of The Bachelor: Women Inform Everything like they definitely did it, and then some. Later Bachelor Joey Graziadei I came here to offer closure to the woman who finished third tonight.
He was also on hand to help the show deal with this season’s obvious rise in hate and racism on social media, with nearly every woman on the panel sharing that they had received nasty comments and private messages from these horrible “little warriors of the keyboard”.

The 2-hour special concluded last week’s “dramatic” cliffhanger, where Kelsey A left Joey with the dreaded “We need to talk” note, leaving him wallowing in his insecurities about not being chosen in the end.
We arrive at the penultimate Rose Ceremony, with the Bachelor choosing his Close 2, sending one of the women from the show and straight to Ladies inform everyone reverse sofa host Jesse Palmer.
But the night kicked off with the most explosive storyline of the season, as the “Imply GIrls” conflict proved it still had some firepower with Maria again battling Sydney, Lea and Jess – with both teams having her back up.

Maria and female madness Imply
It dominated the first half hour of the show, as we got a spotlight first on Lea, who was the second to jump into the training dump on Maria, before shifting the focus to this season’s hatemaker, Sydney. And Madina, who strangely was the centerpiece of the drama while trying not to be part of it, once again tried to take control.
And right in the middle of it all, just as she has been all season long, is one of the producers who is rumored to be a potential candidate for the next Bachelorette. But is Maria too controversial? She’s definitely an emotional firecracker, though at least she’s been constant.
For Maria, it’s all about honesty and integrity – although we have to laugh at her aggressive criticism of the difference between telling someone to close and telling them to close the door. This is simply semantics when the intent is identical. This weakens the argument.
Add to that the fact that she was cutting Jess down repeatedly throughout this argument – even after saying she’d let her finish it – and Maria didn’t come out of this smelling entirely of bachelorette party roses. It didn’t help Jess’ argument that Maria would never let her talk.
At the same time, there seemed to be a consensus among the women that Maria was treated quite horribly throughout her time at home, and unfairly so. After putting up with this for so long, it’s fair to say that she won’t be at her best anymore… and that may have carried over into tonight’s episode.
As we talked about in our weekly coverage of the season, Sydney was the first to start dumping Maria, becoming obsessed with her due to a comment made about Madina’s insecurity regarding her age. Madina tried to stay out of it, but Sydney was obsessed.

Tonight, she admitted she should have been more “resolution-oriented” than confrontation-oriented, saying she cringed as she watched herself again. However, it seemed like there was a lot more hate for Lea, who picked up the torch of hate from Maria after Sydney didn’t survive the dreaded two-on-one encounter.
“When I came back from my Two-on-One, I walked into the quietest room I’ve ever walked into,” Maria told Lea. “Nobody was happy for me. No one had a smile on their face. But Madina examined me and said, ‘You look beautiful.’ And is this a problem? And you also made it an issue because of that?
And she did too, picking Madina apart to say that she was basically betraying Sydney’s memory by being nice to Maria. It was as if a concerted effort was taking place to ostracize Maria and make her truly feel like crap.
Then, that same concentrated effort seemed to have drawn Lea into the reunion, sending the 23-year-old offstage to cry during the commercial break. Maria tried to hug each of her strongest haters, telling them that she wanted everyone to come out of this situation okay.
Maria did not resist, however, defending herself to the best of her ability. When Sydney tried to argue that part of their problem was simply that they had different ways of communicating, Maria responded, “Well, I communicate reality and you make up lies. You are completely right.
At the same time, although she had her views on some of the women – which she later squashed with apologies and hugs – Maria wasn’t getting the level of hate that Sydney had been receiving in recent weeks online.
“Sydney, the hate you have received on social media has crossed the way,” said Maria. “And it’s not something I don’t tolerate or respect in any way. And Lea, you too. That’s not what I wanted. I wanted us to be good.
We’ll talk more about that in a bit, but before that, we’ll have to wrap up Fantasy Suite and reveal Joey’s High 2.

“We need to discuss”
Everyone knows that Joey has an insecurity about his chosen woman not choosing him again, and everyone knows that this is one of the worst messages you can see in a note or in a text or even in any context. And yet, that’s what Kelsey A dropped on her doorstep during Fantasy Suites week.
So actually, the producers left it as a dramatic cliffhanger. After that, it was discovered that…
…
anything.
Actually, group? Let’s go! Sure, she had some insecurities, but she was just trying to tell Joey that she misses him when they’re not together and that’s exhausting.
It was also difficult for her to see how much the note destroyed his spirit and left him immersed in his feelings. Even his encouraging phrases couldn’t get him out of this situation. Abruptly, his concern grew to become her concern. Wouldn’t he select her because of this second one?
In the end, he chose her, since it was Rachel who didn’t get a spot in Final 2. Daisy was chosen alongside Kelsey A to meet Joey’s family next week and then see which ones he will kneel at the entrance of.
As for Rachel, she was in a reasonably great, if tearful, place watching it again with Jesse in the Ladies inform everyone. She and Joey were even on a very healthy note about their time together and how it ended when he left.
So if everyone agreed with what happened, then what happened?!
Racism and hate, that’s it.

Racism and Hatred
It was a subject that came up more than once on the show, but never more poignant or poignant than when Rachel opened up about how her getting the rose two weeks ago because of Maria led to an onslaught of hate and racist feedback online. social.
“I don’t know what or why this is happening. I’ve just gotten a lot of hate mail since the episode aired,” she said of the Hometowns episode. “A series of racist comments against me, like calling me a bad word or calling me a ‘jungle Asian,’ all because I bought a rose. It’s just very irritating.”
She said that she stopped feeling the pleasure of sharing that cultural illustration with her family and started seeing the evil spread against them on the internet.
“I’m unhappy because my parents, they really loved the Hometown episode, and then to see people attacking our culture and attacking me,” she said. “You know, I’ve been in this situation before, but this is a whole new level. Just a bunch of people messaging me… and making TikToks of them throwing up after we kissed. It’s just crazy.”
Joey and everyone in the room praised her for sharing this painful fact and putting a mirror up to Bachelor Nation, while Jesse called them out directly for their reprehensible conduct.
“Here’s the thing, Bachelor Nation. We love your strong opinions,” he said directly to the camera. “But I believe it’s so important to uplift these women who were brave enough to be susceptible and share their stories with Joey and all of us at home. These ladies deserve our reward and never our hatred.”

“And obviously for these women, people need to remember how much courage it takes to do what they did, to be able to come out and be who you are without remorse and try your best to do that. It should in no way be met with hate,” Joey added.
“I guess I just want to remind those of you that we’re not just faces on a screen, we’re not just women looking for love,” Rachel interrupted. “I think people are so quick to be little keyboard warriors. and leave because there are no penalties, but we have to pay for the results emotionally and mentally. Simply be variety.
It was an emotional but important conversation… especially on a show that has had a spotty, at best, track record in handling racial and racial issues.
It was refreshing to see them face it head on, letting Rachel share her story and then revealing how many women have received hateful messages this season and then publicly and directly condemning them. Hate and racism must always be fought head-on and must never be tolerated or covered up.
The Bachelor ends next Monday at 8pm ET on ABC
