Fire on the US and the President Biden release the Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with Newsweek.
The Turkish president accuses the Allies of adding fuel to the fire of the war in Ukraine and leaves spikes for the Gulenist organization (FETO), which he describes as “terrorist” like ISIS. He also accuses the US of providing support to terrorist networks as well as Israel, speaking of the “complicity” of the Americans in the crimes against civilians committed, as he claims, by Israel in Gaza.
“Both DAESH and FETO are killing people. Both DAESH (ISIS) and FETO exploit people’s religious feelings. Both DAESH and FETO aim to harm the countries where they operate. FETO aims to infiltrate the governments of the countries where it operates and take control of the system. This includes the United States.
“With tangible evidence, we have explained the dangers of this structure to the presidents of the United States. However, Mr. Biden and I have different views on this matter,” Erdogan said, adding:
“Furthermore, we have different views on human rights. We believe that Israel’s violent killing of innocent people in hospitals where they go for treatment, in ambulances, in markets, in humanitarian aid centers is the most serious violation of human rights. The US government, however, ignores these violations and provides Israel with the greatest support. They do so without realizing that they are becoming complicit in these violations.”
Erdogan denounces the US for supporting Kurdish and Gulenist terrorist organizations, saying this is “not in line with NATO principles.”
