Xiaomi has completed a decade of operations and to celebrate, the Chinese company showcased its electric car, the SU7, in India.
With a wheelbase of 3000mm, the Xiaomi SU7 is 4997mm long, 1963mm wide and 1455mm tall. The SU7 is a premium electric sedan that boasts impressive specs, including a claimed range of 800km on a single charge. With dual motors pushing 663hp and 838Nm of torque, the vehicle has a top speed of 265km/h. The SU7 also takes off from 0 to 100km/h in an impressive 2.78 seconds.
The vehicle takes a lot of inspiration from Aston Martin and Porsche models when it comes to the body design and other styling elements. The vehicle also has a 16.1-inch screen, 56-inch HUD, and a rotating dashboard.
While Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the launch of the SU7 in India, its presence at the tech expo suggests the company’s interest in the country’s growing EV market. If Xiaomi decides to bring the SU7 to India, it will find itself in a growing and dynamic segment with plenty of competitors like the BYD Serie, BMW iX, Mercedes EQE, Porsche Taycan, and even the upcoming Hyundai IONIQ 6.
