Is Big Mama stealing Drake’s stream?
Latto initially teased “Big Mama” earlier this month by sharing a short snippet of the music video on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The rapper’s single and visuals were released on Friday, generating a buzz on social media with users noting that it sounded like something Drake would release. ‘Big Mama’ begins with Latto singing and rapping about a nameless boo that she can’t get enough of. The track then shifts gears as its flow intensifies, delivering aggressive verses over a trap-like beat.
Many social media users were quick to point out Drake’s apparent influence on the record. Shortly after Latto’s record fell, X user @ovosojay1 wrote: “Drake’s influence on culture is UNPARALLELED.” Latto quickly responded to the post saying: “Drake the goat.”
