At 11:00 on Sunday, at the Central Political Committee meeting, as officially announced, the outlook for the roadmap that PASOK will follow from now on is expected to be clarified.
The Political Committee meeting is expected to announce both the timing of the party’s internal elections and Haris Doukas’ candidacy, without excluding the presentation of another one.
The work is scheduled to start at 11 am, at the Hotel Divani Caravel, with a speech by the President of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis.
All the latest indications suggest that the announced election date will be in 2024, as the pressure recorded on Nikos Androulakis at the recent Political Council meeting is logical: the more it is not relieved, the more it will increase.
“At this rate…”
Yesterday, Thursday, the Mayor of Athens, speaking to ANT1, made it clear that he is in favor of strengthening PASOK so that “it can once again be the soul of the progressive faction”, ruling out the possibility of a merger with SYRIZA.
Referring to Nikos Androulakis’ journey, he stated that “he fought an important fight but did not create the conditions after great excess.
“At this rate, we would become a government by 2050,” he noted somewhat mockingly, adding, “One cycle of space survival closes and opens, another must open.”
