TMZ reports that Gotta have Rock and Roll expects the electric guitar, inscribed “Luv, Puff Daddy, Bad Boy 4 Life” in silver pen ink, to fetch $2,000 or more at auction. The inscription references his 2001 hit of the same title and his record label, Bad Boy Records.
TMZ also revealed that the guitar will include a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring bidders will receive a genuine item.
The listing is part of Gotta Have Rock and Roll’s Hip Hop auction, which begins Wednesday (June 26). Other iconic items include Biggie Small’s autograph, Kanye West signed boots and a nose ring owned and worn by Tupac.
Combs drops lawsuit against Sean John
Diddy has remained in the headlines over the past few months due to a viral attack video involving your ex-girlfriend Cassiaalong with other ongoing scandals and lawsuits.
The media mogul recently attracted attention when he dropped the lawsuit against his fashion brand Sean John.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy, formerly known as Sean Combs, initially filed a $60 million lawsuit against Sean John for continuing to use his name in 2021.
According to TudoHipHopDiddy chose to drop the lawsuit following a settlement reached with GBG Sean John LLC and GBG USA Inc. On June 21, all legal claims in New York City were mutually dismissed.
The brand’s future remains uncertain, especially given the successive blows to Diddy’s reputation since November 2023.
Meanwhile, the disgraced producer attracted new attention to himself when deleted his Instagram clean last week, including his video apology after CNN aired footage of the hotel robbery. His experience generated mixed reactions and questions, including viral criticism from Stephen A. Smith.
